Evaluation:
3.5% of the population that is 250 million people in our targeted age group and gender to fit our
criteria. Therfore yes, I think there is enough poeple to fit our criteria
• Will my target really benefit from my product/service? Will they see a need for it?
I think that teenagers will benefit from this product, we want our film trailer to have a heavy focus on mental illness, in paraticular depression, and how that can effect young teenagers lifes in today's society, when you have the added pressure of fitting in or not and your status. I believe our film trailer will hit home for a lot of young people in our society.
• Do I understand what drives my target to make
decisions?
I belive I do, considering I'm a teenager myself I think I would have more understanding of what is going through other teenagers minds then say somone much older than me attempting the task. Therfore making it much easier to make a decision on how to produce the film trailer, and what the target audience which is other teenagers will want to be see done in that trailer, and what will make them think "I really want to go and watch that!".
• Can they afford my product/service?
I would belive so, if they're working a part time job, which sterotypically most teenagers above the age of 16 are then they could afford a cinema ticket.
• Can I reach them with my message? Are they
easily accessible?
I belive so, I think the younger generation are more open to mental illness, and overall more
accepting of it. I would say they can be quite easily accessible as the younger generation are more
up to date with technology and how to use it and where to find the latest news on a certain subject,
so advertising it using convergence would be one way to approach our target audience.
